By browsing our website, requesting a quote, or booking a service with FixUp UAE, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If any part of them doesn't sit right with you, please hold off on using our services.

These terms apply across every service category we offer — plumbing, electrical, AC repair, carpentry, painting, general handyman work, glazing, locksmith services, masonry, and any other maintenance or repair job we take on.

Worth noting

We may decline to take on a job or work at a property if conditions are unsafe, unlawful, or contrary to UAE regulations. Safety comes first, for you and for our team.

Most repairs booked before 2 PM get same-day dispatch in Dubai; emergency callouts run 24/7.

Technicians clean as they go, using drop cloths, shoe covers, and vacuums to leave things spotless.

Agreed Scope

We do exactly what's been agreed in your booking or quote; anything beyond that needs your sign-off first.

FixUp UAE is an independent maintenance contractor working for you directly — not a government body, utility provider, or insurer.

Booking & Cancellations

Booking Channels

Via our website, WhatsApp at 054 185 4179, phone, or email. Every booking gets confirmed by WhatsApp or SMS.

Correct Details

Please give us accurate contact info, address, and a clear description of the problem. Wrong addresses or unreachable numbers slow everything down.

Cancelling on Your End

Free of charge up to 4 hours before your appointment. Cancelling later than that may bring a small AED 50 dispatch fee to cover travel time already committed.

Cancelling on Our End

Rare, but possible in cases like extreme weather, technician illness, or other force majeure events. We'll notify you right away and offer the next open slot.

No-Show Policy

If our technician can't reach the property or reach you after waiting 15 minutes, the visit counts as a no-show and is billed at the standard call-out rate.

Pricing & Payments

Transparent pricing, no surprises.

Quotes

Most standard jobs get a fixed price upfront; more complex work may need an on-site look first.

Call-Out Fee

Some services carry a diagnostic charge, clearly noted in your quote, and waived if you go ahead with the recommended repair.

Extra Work

If a technician spots additional issues mid-job, they'll pause and explain before doing anything further. No extra work happens without your explicit go-ahead and an updated price.

How to Pay

Cash, credit/debit card, bank transfer, or Apple Pay. Payment is due on completion unless we've agreed otherwise in writing.

Invoices

Every payment comes with a proper VAT invoice where applicable — hang onto it for warranty purposes.

No hidden charges

If you're ever billed for something you didn't agree to, let us know. Every billing concern gets a personal review, and we'll make it right.

Limits on Liability

Pre-Existing Damage

We're not responsible for damage that predates our visit; document your property's condition beforehand if you have concerns.

Indirect Losses

We don't cover indirect or consequential losses, like lost income, spoiled food from a failed fridge, or damage from a leak that existed before we arrived.

Force Majeure

We're not liable for delays caused by things outside our control — natural disasters, government action, pandemics, severe weather.

Liability Cap

Our total liability for any single job is capped at what you paid for that service, except where UAE law says otherwise.

We do carry comprehensive insurance, and if our team causes damage through genuine negligence, we'll work with you and our insurer to resolve it.

Property Access & Safety

Clear Access

Please provide safe, unobstructed access to the work area, with pets secured and valuables or fragile items cleared away.

Working Utilities

Water, electricity, and gas need to be accessible and safe to work with; if these are shut off at the building level, we can't complete the job.

Building Permissions

For apartments or gated communities, securing access passes, parking, or elevator bookings is your responsibility.

Hazards

If a technician spots a hazard (exposed wiring, a gas leak, structural instability), they may pause work until a specialist resolves it.

Valuables

Please keep cash, jewelry, and important documents secured; while our technicians are vetted professionals, we can't take responsibility for misplaced personal items.

Expected Conduct

Respect Goes Both Ways

Abuse toward our staff, verbal or physical, ends the service immediately and may lead to legal action.

Honest Requests

Please don't book under false pretenses or misrepresent the scope of work; it costs everyone time and money.

No Interference

Attempting to scrape our site, reverse-engineer our systems, or tamper with our booking platform breaches UAE cybercrime law.

Feedback

Genuine reviews, good or bad, are always welcome. Fake reviews, blackmail attempts, or defamatory claims will be pursued legally.

Intellectual Property

Text, images, logos, video, and graphics on fixupuae.com belong to FixUp UAE or our licensed partners, protected under UAE and international copyright law.

Trademarks

The FixUp UAE name, logo, and tagline are protected; unauthorized commercial use isn't permitted.

Job Photos

We may photograph completed work for our portfolio and marketing; let your technician know beforehand if you'd rather we didn't.

Testimonials

Submitting a review gives us permission to feature it on our site, social channels, and marketing materials.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms as our business, services, or legal obligations evolve. When we do:

  • The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page gets refreshed.
  • A notice goes up on our website for at least 30 days.
  • Significant changes may also come with an email or WhatsApp notification to active customers.

Continuing to use our services after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you'd rather not, please stop using our services and get in touch to close your account.
